Automation Controls Engineer
We are currently searching for a talented and dedicated Automation Controls Engineer to manage, design, and implement automated control systems for our facilities. You'll be expected to understand and apply automated control systems theory, developing innovative solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness within our operations. This role collaborates extensively with various teams and has a significant impact on our overall performance.
What you'll do:
• Design and implement control systems for automation processes
• Collaborate with other team members to understand and translate business requirements into engineering specifications
• Work with project managers to identify, define and solve pressing challenges and bottlenecks within our automation processes
• Ensure that automation projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety standards
• Inspect and test existing systems to diagnose and fix problems
• Prepare and maintain technical reports for all automated and control system activities
• Maintain current knowledge of the latest technology and programming techniques for control systems
• Other duties as assigned
What is required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in control systems design and implementation, preferably in manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of control theory, automated machinery, and industrial engineering principles
• Proficient in automation programming languages
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to draft detailed design specifications and perform follow-up reviews
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
